- AutoCAD looks so complicated, how good can I expect to be after 2 days?
Our method of teaching AutoCAD to Site Engineers focuses on what you need to know in order to carry out your job as a site engineer. The course is taught in a systemised manner that builds on your knowledge throughout the 2 days. With practice you will very quickly become proficient in AutoCAD – don’t just take our word for it, please see the testimonials from engineers that have attended the course.
- Do you have any tips that will help with mastering AutoCAD?
- Create a word document on your laptop and write down in your own words the commands you use and how to use them.
- The key to success with AutoCAD is to practice little and often, pay attention throughout the course and start practising the next day - 15 minutes twice a day during breaks is fine
- Do not be put off by how complex AutoCAD looks, as site engineers we use a fraction of the commands available and once repeated a few times they are surprisingly easy to remember
- Set your expectations – you will experience some frustration to begin with and that is fine, Grid Point are on hand to help you with our follow up support.
