Grid Point are a site engineering, earthworks and survey company. Grid Point provides highly skilled Site Engineers and Surveyors to customers within the UK and European construction industry.
Initially founded to eliminate the random quality of freelance Site Engineers being supplied to the industry, Grid Point was established by two Engineering Surveyors with over 25 years combined site engineering and surveying experience.
We have evolved to become a multi-discipline engineering and survey company who have forged successful partnerships with our clients. Whether you require a survey, an earthworks cut-and-fill, an engineer for a one-off visit, or the life-cycle of a
project or package, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.

Quality Unlike general construction agencies, the majority of our engineers have worked for us on a full-time basis for several years. All new/potential Grid Point Site Engineers and Surveyors are put through a robust selection process in order to ensure that we deliver the highest high quality service to our customers.
Flexibility Grid Point understands your site engineering and surveying requirements can vary. We provide Site Engineers to attend your project for a one-off day visit, intermittent visits, or full-time on the job for as long as you require.
Location Grid Point provides Site Engineers and Surveyors across the majority of the UK.
Innovation The Grid Point 2 day ‘AutoCAD for Site Engineers’ course was devised as a means of concisely learning AutoCAD techniques and methodology that are specific to our profession. Over 300 Site Engineers from all corners of the UK have completed the training.
Accreditations Grid Point takes Health & Safety very seriously, we are accredited with CHAS, SMAS, SSIP and have been awarded Gold level (3rd tier) membership with Constructionline.

Grid Point only supply Site Engineers that have the necessary skills and experience, and who enthusiastic about their work. The majority of our engineers have worked for us over a number of years. When supplying equipment, Grid Point provide the latest Leica Robotic total stations and GPS instruments.
Grid Point’s Earthworks service provides certainty for volume calculations both at tender stage and monthly valuations. Information is delivered in a clear, concise, easy to understand format.
We use the latest in survey technology including Leica Robotic Total Stations, GPS equipment and processing software to provide high quality surveys.
Training
As part of our commitment to providing the best Site Engineers to contractors throughout the UK, Grid Point runs various courses for site engineers that will improve their skills. Every course is designed and taught by experienced Site Engineers.
BIM
BIM enables Engineers, Contractors, and Architects to work on a single particular project from anywhere in the world. It condenses a plethora of information about every detail into a workable format. It makes for easier design and simpler coordination between team members.
