Founded to eliminate the random quality of freelance site engineers being supplied to the industry.
Grid Point are a site engineering, earthworks and survey company, who provide highly skilled engineers and surveyors to our customers within the UK and European construction industry. Alongside this part of the business sits our Earthworks Consultancy, Survey division and Training Academy. In addition, we feel that by providing engineers with further training, our reputation for the provision of high quality setting out engineers is reinforced. 

Meet Our Directors

At Grid Point we have a team of experienced site engineers, consultants and surveyors, actively working on projects across the UK. Here is a brief introduction to our directors, get in touch to find out more about our service.

Steve Holmes, 
Director

Steve started his career in 2004 for Gallagher Group where he gained experience as a Site Engineer gaining a BSc Honours in Construction Management and a Degree in Civil Engineering.


Steve moved on to work for a large Groundworks and Civil Engineering company in 2012. As Engineering Manager, Steve was first point of contact for over 30 Site Engineers. With over 20 years’ of hands on experience using AutoCAD products and Survey Equipment, Steve helps manage and oversee the day to day running of Grid Point.


Craig Russell, 
Director

Craig’s career began in 2000 working in the London head office of a blue-chip international recruitment consultancy, where he became their youngest employee to be entrusted with managing a division.


In 2006, Craig went on to run his own site engineering recruitment business, building upon a reputation for absolute integrity, technical understanding and industry knowledge. Ten years later he joined Steve at Grid Point, initially to manage the provision of full-time engineers to our clients. His role continues to evolve and includes the day-to-day operational management of the business and diversification into new market sectors.
