  • Where do Grid Point hold the training courses?

    If you are a corporate client and have a number of staff that you would like to attend a Grid Point course then we can run the training at your offices anywhere in the UK.


    The 2 day AutoCAD and 1 day Reinforcement courses are held at our Head Office in Wokingham, Berkshire. 


    Leica Robotic training is normally held at our Kent Office but this is flexible and arrangements can be made to train at a venue closer to the customer.

  • Does the training centre in Wokingham have parking?

    Yes, we have free parking for up to 9 cars, alternative parking is available at car parks in the town centre.

  • Is there nearby accommodation?

    There is a wide variety of hotels and B&B’s available locally, we suggest booking.com or laterooms.com

  • Public Transport?

    Wokingham train station is a 6 minute walk and on the direct line to Waterloo.


    Twyford train station is a 15 minute taxi ride and on the mainline to Paddington.


    Heathrow airport is approximately 35 minutes by taxi.

  • Is lunch supplied?

    A light lunch, snacks, teas & coffees are provided where delegates book individually on courses - please advise the course instructor if you have any specific dietary requirements.

  • Course certificate

    A certificate is issued for the 2 day AutoCAD for site engineer’s course.

  • When will I receive my joining instructions?

    Course joining instructions are sent out after full payment has been received and on the Monday before the start of the course.

  • What if I am unsure the course is suitable for me?

    Please call the Grid Point office - we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

  • What are the course hours?

    The various courses start and finish at different times - please see FAQ’s specific to your chosen course or contact the office for further information.

  • Is there a dress code for the Grid Point courses?

    Smart casual or clothing suitable for outdoors if on the Leica Robotic course.
